Investment market trends forecast until 2023 according to North American experts 2021

More than half of North American industry experts surveyed in 2021 noted that the digital expectations of clients was a trend that is expected to impact their business over the next two years. Meanwhile, 37 percent of respondents believed that remote working would largely affect how their business operates in the future. Many businesses today allow employees some form of remote working flexibility, a trend that emerged following the impact of the pandemic many believed will remain. Connecting with clients via phone calls has decreased as many firms have adopted a blended approach of face-to-face meetings and virtual communication.

The survey group comprised of 500 investment providers in the top investment markets around the world. The survey covered 15 countries from three different regions: 39 percent of the providers came from North America. The survey group covered a range of sectors, from investment advisory firms and retail asset managers to private banks and family offices. Half of the respondents were C-level executives, while the rest were at the managing director or senior vice president levels. 2,325 investors were also surveyed. The group varied by wealth level, age, gender, and location. 42 percent of investors were from North America.
