In 2022, one of the leading reasons why consumers in the United States and the United Kingdom preferred sustainable brands had to do with their inclination to create a more eco-friendly environment/climate. About 30 percent of surveyed U.S. and UK shoppers found this to be important. In terms of differences between the two groups, consumers in the UK valued the reduction of production waste and their carbon footprint more, while U.S. consumers appreciated brands aligning with their own values the most.
