Global monthly price of naphtha 2020-2022

The monthly price of naphtha worldwide experienced fluctuations from January 2020 to December 2022. In 2022, the highest price occurred in March, reaching 1,012 U.S. dollars per metric ton. This marked a significant increase compared to the previous year's March figure of 597 U.S. dollars per metric ton. However, the price gradually declined in the following months. The lowest figure in 2022 was recorded in December, at 652 U.S. dollars per metric ton. When comparing it to the same month in the previous year, December 2021, there was a decrease of 53 U.S. dollars per metric ton. Overall, the trend for 2022 showed that naphtha prices peaked in the first quarter and gradually decreased throughout the year, with December marking the lowest point.
