As of June 2022, 66 percent of Americans said women should have a lot of influence over abortion policy in the United States, and 52 percent said that medical doctors should also have a lot of control over abortion policy. Meanwhile, 40 percent of respondents said that men should have no influence at all, and 45 percent said that Republicans in Congress should have no influence at all on the country's abortion policy.
