Latin America: EV sales by vehicle type and country

Brazil was the country recording the most electric vehicle sales in 2023, at some 93,900 EVs and hybrid vehicles sold. The most popular vehicle type in Brazil was hybrid electric vehicles, which made up most of the sales. In terms of battery-electric vehicles, they were most popular in Brazil, where over 19,300 sales were reported.
