When surveyed in the spring of 2021, more than 70 percent of Canadians aged 19 and older with disabilities, difficulties or long-term health problems reported having encountered obstacles to accessibility in their interactions with federal public sector organizations in the past two years. This proportion was higher among older men than among the younger, but slightly lower among older women than among younger women.
