According to a 2021 survey on Chinese consumers' willingness to pay a premium for convenience, 76 percent of the respondents earning 30,000 yuan or above indicated that they would pay a premium to save time. On the other hand, 53 percent of the respondents earning less than 8,000 yuan indicated they would rather spend more time than spend more money on a premium.
