Annual number of POS terminals in Indonesia 2013-2022

The number of POS terminals in Indonesia declined by three percent between 2021 and 2022, after several years of sizable growth. The number of terminals in available in the country started to accelerate since 2019, growing by 700,000 terminals in two years. That said, cash was still the most used payment method in Indonesian physical stores in 2021 - although it had declined significantly since 2019.
