According to a 2021 survey, 60 percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 34 years said they went out of their way to avoid advertising when watching TV. By comparison, 45 percent of people aged 50 years and older said the same. 58 percent of all adults interviewed stated that do not mind watching ads if they are paying very little or nothing in order to watch TV content.
