Finance app downloads in Mexico 2019-2023, by type

The number of finance app downloads in Mexico slowed down - or in some cases even decreased - towards the end of 2023. The downloads of finance apps specializing in personal loans, for instance, decreased from 26 million in the third quarter to 23.04 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. On the other hand, the number of mobile banking app downloads increased in the last quarter of 2023, making mobile banking apps still the most widely downloaded finance apps in Mexico.
