Among presented Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, the French operator Accor had the largest number of hotels in Poland, at 85 as of March 2022. Furthermore, 57 hotels in Russia, which were owned by a local subsidiary of Accor, belonged to the brand. The company suspended new investments in Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
