A survey conducted in China in January 2022 concluded that while 85 percent of Chinese people accepted medical aesthetics, almost 30 percent of men in China felt the operations unacceptable. In general, men showed a more conservative attitude towards medical aesthetics than women. While 20 percent of female respondents planned to receive medical aesthetics operations in the future, only six percent of male respondents had similar plans.
