As of 2024, around 17 percent of the population aged 15 years and older in Tunisia had made a purchase on the internet in the past year. The digital shopping penetration was slightly higher among men than women. In fact, just over 17 percent of the male population made online purchases, compared to 16.5 percent of the female population.
