Share of Russia and Ukraine in global production 2020, by product
Russia and Ukraine together accounted for over 43 percent of the volume of palladium produced worldwide in 2020. Furthermore, Russia was one of the second-leading producer of natural gas after the United States, representing nearly 18 percent of the total production of that fossil fuel worldwide. Ukraine was a major wheat producer, occupying a three percent share of the global production.
