Inflation forecast in Russia and Ukraine 2022-2023
According to a consensus forecast, Russia's inflation rate was expected to increase by nearly 20 percent in 2022 as a consequence of the invasion of Ukraine and subsequent international sanctions on Russia. Furthermore, consumer prices in Ukraine were forecast to rise by 26 percent in 2022 and nearly 15 percent in 2023.
