Results of the second round of the legislative elections in France 2022
The second round of the legislative elections took place on Sunday, June 19th in France. The candidates of the presidential majority came out on top (38.57 percent of the votes cast), before the Nouvelle Union Populaire Ecologique et Sociale* (NUPES), a coalition of left wing parties (31.6 percent). The abstention rate was one of the highest ever recorded in a parliamentary election under the Fifth Republic, almost ten points higher than in 2012.
