According to a global survey conducted in 2021, respondents who spent one hour per day on social media reported the healthiest feelings of wellbeing, scoring 67 points on the wellbeing index which included physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Additionally, users of social media who spent more than four hours daily on the online platforms experienced the weakest wellbeing score of all participants, with 64 points.
