Share of drug crimes solved in Sweden 2012-2021, by type

Between 2012 and 2021, around half or more of the drug offences in Sweden concerning possession, use, or production were typically solved. The clearance rate concerning trafficking, sales and similar offences was lower, and decreased since 2018, falling to only 21 percent in 2021. The same year, 40 percent of cases concerning possession, 46 percent concerning use, and 51 percent concerning production were solved.
