According to a survey conducted in South Korea from late 2020 to early 2021, around 70 percent of doctors stated that they did not offer telemedicine services because it was too difficult to ensure patient safety. Over half of doctors felt burdened by the responsibility of offering medical services via teleconsultation, and further did not think that the concept of telemedicine was compatible with the basic principles of medical treatment.
