According to a survey conducted in South Korea from late 2020 to early 2021, around 83 percent of doctors who were dissatisfied with telemedicine stated that it was for the reason that it was difficult to ensure the safety of a patient via telecommunication means. This was overwhelmingly the most common reason. A further 8.7 percent saw no advantages compared to in-person care, while six percent struggled with administrative issues that came with telemedicine.
