According to a survey conducted in September and October 2021, around 83 percent of Australian residents with a Chinese ancestry said that Australia was a very good or good place to live. Only two percent of respondents rated Australia as being a poor place to live.

"Overall, how would you rate Australia as a place to live?"
The survey was conducted among 1,401 citizens, permanent residents, and visa holders (excluding tourist visa holders) in Australia who identified as having Chinese ancestry and had resided in Australia for at least one year.
