The United States reduced its import volume of fossil fuels from Russia by 100 percent in May 2022 compared to the period from February to March 2022. That was the most significant decrease among the presented countries. Sweden's decline in imports was the second largest, at 99 percent. To compare, the amount of Russian fossil fuels imported by the Netherlands decreased by five percent over the time frame under consideration.
