About one in three homes bought in Miami, FL, was purchased by an investor in the first quarter of 2024, making it the metros where investors bought the largest share of homes in the United States. The share of homes bought by investors exceeded 20 percent in nine other metros, including Cleveland, OH, Jacksonville, FL, and San Diego, CA.
