U.S. users who made money from live streaming content 2024, by age
According to a survey of users in the United States carried out in March 2024, approximately 47 percent of users who streamed video content managed to earn some form of revenue from their live content. By comparison, 53 percent of live streamers reported not receiving any tips, advertising money, or any other revenue from their live streams. Approximately 44 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 34 years reported earning money from their live streams, while over 79 percent of streamers aged 55 and older reported not having been able to monetize their live content.
