According to a survey conducted in China in 2021, 46 percent of respondents stated that they purchased secondhand fashion items because they could get items that they were not willing to pay full price for. Meanwhile, about 40 percent of respondents said they use fashion re-commerce platforms because they can find unique pieces that were sold out.
