Number of company closures in the tourism industry in China H1 2020

In the first half of 2020, around 49,000 enterprises in the tourism industry went out of business in China, mostly due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused crisis in the tourism and travel sector worldwide. In June alone, around 17,000 tourism-related Chinese companies got closed.
