Satisfaction of the French with Elisabeth Borne as Prime Minister 2022, by vote

Interviewed in the context of the 2022 legislative elections, less than half of the French were satisfied with Emmanuel Macron's choice to appoint Elisabeth Borne as Prime Minister. The most pleased with this choice were voters of the presidential majority (87 percent), and those of right-wing parties (51 percent). Conversely, the most critical were French voters who supported candidates from the Nouvelle Union Populaire Ecologique et Sociale (23 percent), and those who voted for candidates from the far right.
By being appointed Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne became the second woman to hold this position in a French government, thirty years after Edith Cresson.
