According to a survey conducted in South Korea from late 2020 to early 2021, around 39 percent of respondents stated that they grew up in the capital city of Seoul. A further 9.3 percent were from Busan, while 8.4 percent came from Daegu. Larger cities and metropolitan areas produced the largest shares of doctors.
