In 2022, roughly 4.9 percent of young people living in the Flanders region were neither in employment nor in education nor training, compared to nine percent in Wallonia and 9.1 percent in the Brussels region. Although figures between 2021 and previously are not perfectly comparable, there has been a somewhat decreasing trend since 2019.
