According to a survey of management and IT professionals working in Italian companies, as of February 2022, the most worrying cyber security threat associated with working remotely was identity or credential theft. Around 70 percent of professionals reported considering credential theft as this the most concerning threat related to working from home. Malware attacks were considered the second most concerning threat when working from home, while internal attacks appear to be the least concerning threats for Italian companies according to their IT professionals.
