According to a survey in the Philippines between August and September 2022, 37 percent of surveyed organizations were at the formative stage of their cybersecurity readiness. This means that they have a considerable level of deployment and were performing above average on cybersecurity readiness. Meanwhile, 27 percent of companies were at the mature stage.

Survey respondents were conducted among 6,700 business leaders in 27 markets globally including the Philippines.
Stages are defined as:
Beginner: at initial stages of deployment of solutions
Formative: have some level of deployment, but performing below average on cybersecurity readiness
Progressive: considerable level of deployment and performing above average on cybersecurity readiness
Mature: have achieved advanced stages of deployment and are most ready to address security risks
