Data was compiled by Statista, based on the reports of each company, as follows:
BP: The figure is taken from the company's ESG datasheet 2023 (page 21). 
Chevron: The figure is taken from the company’s 2023 performance data (page 7-8). 
Eni: The figure is taken from the company's Annual Report 2023 (page 158).
ExxonMobil: The figure is taken from the company's Greenhouse gas emissions performance data.
Shell: The figure is taken from the company's Annual Sustainability Report 2023 (page 77).
TotalEnergies: The figure is taken from the company's Sustainability & Climate 2024 Progress Report (page 100).
