Italy: positive opinions on video games 2021, by age
According to a survey conducted among consumers in Italy in 2021, over seven in 10 respondents defined video games as fun, because they enable people to have a nice time. The number of consumers finding video games fun was higher among respondents aged between 18 and 34 years, with 86 percent of consumers in this demographic reporting to agree with the statement. Overall, just 42 percent of respondents considered video games a social experience, and less than two in 10 respondents aged over 64 years reported thinking that video games help people create connections and engage in group activities.
