Most Facebook users in South Africa were between 25 and 34 years as of August 2023. Of those, men with Facebook accounts in this age group represented 13.8 percent of the total users, against 14.4 percent for women. Furthermore, South Africans aged 18-24 were the second largest group using Facebook, with more women than men.
