According to a survey ran in October 2023, France had the highest share of active and casual lifestyle brand purchasers who were more concerned about the sustainability of products than they were the previous year, with over three-quarters of respondents making this claim. Germany had the lowest share with 64 percent.

Responses were sampled and weighted to be demographically representative for their age groups according to published population statistics for age, gender, region, education, race, and income in the U.S., and age, gender, region, and education in the UK, Italy, Germany, and France.
The survey count breakdown is as follows: U.S. 6,053; UK 1,039; Italy 1,044; Germany 1,068; France 945.
