Major agriculture and rural development sector projects have been carried out in Côte d'Ivoire since 2016. Of these, 90.01 million Units of Account (UA), the highest amount, was committed to the Government Social Program Support Project, approved in December 2019 and planned to be completed in December 2023. Moreover, around 83 million UA have been committed to support the Cocoa Pre-Export and Value Chain Trade Finance Support Facility -Sucres & Denrees's (SUCDEN's) participation in cocoa value chain in the country. This project was approved in June 2019.
