Between January 2018 and October 2024, Germany's inflation rate experienced significant volatility. Initially fluctuating between 0.3 and 3.1 percent, the rate escalated dramatically, reaching a peak of 10.4 percent in October 2022. By October 2024, the inflation rate had moderated to two percent, following a gradual decline to 1.6 percent in September 2024.
