Familiarity with the term LGBTQ among Tokyo residents 2021
According to a survey conducted in October 2021, a majority of over 68 percent of participants in Tokyo knew the term "LGBTQ" as well as its meaning. In contrast to that, less than ten percent of respondents were unfamiliar with the term.
