According to a survey carried out in the first quarter of 2023, nearly six in ten U.S. shoppers looked for products information on Amazon, while 42 percent preferred to browse social engines. Social networks also played an important role in pre-purchase search, with YouTube and Facebook being the most used platforms for this purpose.
