According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, respondents aged between 18 and 29 years reported a 2.5 percent prevalence of having struggled with alcohol abuse over the past year. This was a higher prevalence rate than any other age group, with people in their forties being closest at 1.2 percent.
