During the first half of 2024, the number of cyberattacks on the healthcare sector constituted approximately 18 percent of the total incidents in the country. Strikes directed at multiple targets made up 16 percent of cyberattacks. Cyberattacks to the government, the military, and law enforcement agencies made up almost 13 percent of the total, while attacks to the financial and insurance sectors represented eight percent of the total for the year.
