As per the survey conducted in 2022, the share of respondents likely to conserve water at their homes in order to limit their contribution to climate change in worldwide was 52 percent. Close to 74 percent of Chinese respondents planned to lead a more sustainable lifestyle by saving water at their homes by taking shorter showers or by not watering their gardens. Whereas only about 34 percent of respondents in France planned to conserve water at their homes in the future.

"Thinking about things you might do in order to limit your own contribution to climate change, how likely or unlikely would you be to make the following changes within the next year?
Saving water at home, for example by having shorter showers or not watering your garden."
