In 2021, Belgians were by far the least interested in ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) services among viewers in selected countries in Europe. Nearly half of streaming viewers in Belgium expressed disinterest in a potential video streaming service offering a lower subscription free but requiring ad viewing. In comparison, about 20 to 40 percent of viewers in other European countries reported that they would not register for such a service, while around 40 percent of viewers in most of those countries responded that they would pay a lower price and accept ad-supported viewing.
