As of March 2024, mobile payment platform J-Coin Pay counted approximately one million users. This was an increase from 840 thousand the previous year.
J-Coin Pay is a digital wallet app launched in 2019 by Mizuho Bank in cooperation with around 60 participating financial institutions. Using QR-code technology, the smartphone app allows users to make mobile financial transactions, including money transfers and payments.
