U.S. gamer familiarity with immersive gaming 2021

Immersive games make users feel like they are really part of the game and keep playing for longer. However, a December 2021 survey of gamers on the United States found that not all gamers were familiar with the term. Overall, 55 percent of gamers aged 18 to 34 years were familiar with the phrase, whereas only 41 percent of gamers aged 35 to 54 years felt the same. More than two thirds of gamers aged 55 years and above were not at all familiar with the phrase.
