Between 2019 and 2021, the only channel in which grappa sales grew steadily was e-commerce. Sales of the distilled alcoholic beverage in that channel grew from just under one million to nearly three million over the reported period. Sales of grappa in food retail peaked in 2020 at 134 million euros, and then declined by one million euros the following year. Sales of grappa in cash and carry, on the other hand, peaked in 2019 with 22 million euros, then declined in 2020 and increased again in 2021, when they reached 21 million euros.
