U.S. registered voters support for corporate response to shooting in Buffalo NY 2022

As of May 2022, most registered voters in the United States felt that companies should make a statement condemning the mass shooting that occurred on May 14, 2022. There was also wide support for statements that condemned both racism and white supremacy. The second largest majority of respondents indicated that companies should donate money to the families of the victims involved in the shooting.

Thirteen people were shot, and ten people died, all of whom were Black. The shooter, who is white, is reported to have written a manifesto, describing himself as a white supremacist. The attack was described as an act of domestic terrorism, and the incident investigated as being racially motivated.
