Mexico: means to access online information Q3 2023

As of the third quarter of 2023, using a search engine was the most common activity to access online information for 94 percent of internet users in Mexico. Overall, 63.7 percent of respondents visited social networks to look for information about brands and products, and 48.5 percent used their mobile phones to scan a QR code monthly. Image recognition tools on mobile devices were used by 47.7 percent of Mexican online users every month, as 47.3 percent of the respondents employed online tools to translate into different languages weekly.
