In 2020, the volume of gas transit via the connection point Sudzha in Ukraine reached 130.1 million cubic meters on average daily. The figure marked a decline by around 50 million cubic meters daily from the previous year. In 2020, the transit took place under an updated agreement between Russia and Ukraine for the period from 2020 to 2024. Sudzha was one of the two main connection points of gas transit in Ukraine, together with Sokhranivka. The transit through the latter was suspended in May 2022 during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
