COVID-19: measures taken by Romanian businesses

In May 2022, reduction of non-essential expenses was one of the leading measures taken by Romanian companies to maintain operations during and after the imposed Covid-19 quarantine. About 40 percent of business environment representatives reported that their companies ensured hygiene conditions for employees.

However, the data should be interpreted from the perspective of its collection, in the second half of April, when there was no information on a possible relaxation of social distancing measures."
